That’s why we prioritize urban tree preservation, thoughtful replanting, and environmental stewardship in every neighborhood we touch. Through our partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, that vision now scales nationally supporting critical reforestation efforts across the country.
How It Works
For every home we build, MN Custom Homes donates to the Arbor Day Foundation’s Forests of Great Need initiative—resulting in the planting of 100 trees per home. These trees help rebuild forests impacted by wildfires, support biodiversity, and restore green space in communities that need it most.
As part of the home-buying experience, our clients receive a Tree Dedication Card in their closing packet—a small but meaningful way to mark the start of a new chapter while giving back to nature.
Our Commitment to Urban Forests

- Preserving existing trees whenever possible—removing only those that pose safety or feasibility concerns
- Respecting legacy trees, as defined by city code, and protecting them from removal
- Designing around the landscape, ensuring that neighborhood character and natural beauty remain intact
